Elizabeth Sagarin is a native Long Islander with over ten years experience in the visual arts. Educated at NYU and New York Institute of Technology in the humanities and Communication Arts, Elizabeth takes cue from history’s most expressive artists to capture the mood and beauty of one of life’s most special days.

Through arduous pursuit, Elizabeth has mastered the techniques necessary to create the classic, meticulous portraiture, and the spontaneous, un-staged ‘snapshots’ that are best suited to cover the breath of any event. As a former newspaper photo editor and current shooter for some of Long Island’s more prominent dailies, Elizabeth is keenly aware of the importance of being at the ready to take that once-in-a-lifetime shot. This preparedness coupled with a compassionate heart, determined to use the visual medium of photography to share the human experience defines, and distinguishes, Elizabeth’s camera work.

Whether it is wedding, scenic, art, photojournalistic or commercial work she is doing there is always a commitment to quality and specialized care. Years of working in the service industry has helped shape this personalized philosophy. Honesty and integrity are constants throughout all Elizabeth’s endeavors. These two characteristics have proven their merit in every shooting situation, from ultra-sensitive matters to more light-hearted. Those reasons are why Elizabeth can be put in any environment and get the necessary coverage to completely tell a story.

Her variety of experiences in New York, and other parts of the world, has helped hone a confidence and comfort to focus on the task of capturing, that which only exists during the blink of an eye.
